BELFAST CITY COUNCIL SET TO MAKE £10M CONTRIBUTION TO TITANIC PROJECT

titanic-signature-project1BELFAST City Council is set to ratify its £10m contribution to the Titanic Signature Project at a special council meeting on December 16. Diane Dodds, Chairperson of the Strategic Policy and Resources Committee, welcomed the announcement that the Northern Ireland Executive is to offer £43.5m towards the £97m Titanic Quarter proposal.

OMAGH CELEBRATES THE END OF WARM LAGER THANKS TO COORS LIGHT

Introducing the new bottle that tells drinkers when their beer is perfectly chilled, Sally’s customers were give the chance to sample the ice cold beer and take part in the Coors Light Blue Peaks Challenge to win some great prizes. MLAs PLEDGE TO REDUCE CLIMATE CHANGE

A survey, conducted by the Northern Ireland Climate Change Impact Partnership, found that both the public and local politicans are willing to make changes to their lifestyle to reduce climate change and feel that the Northern Ireland Assembly has a role to play in encouraging more action.
