NEWTONABBEY is getting into the party spirit this Halloween as it plays host to a range of special holiday events suitable for all the family.
Starting on Monday October 27, international medium/clairvoyant Margaret Herdman will be contacting spirits passed at the Courtyard Theatre. Having made a number of visits to Ireland and following her previous sell out tour, Margaret has built up an army of followers. Tickets start at £10 and are available from Ballyearl Courtyard Box Office on 028 9084 8287.
Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper, a graphic drama evoking the infamous murders in 1888, will be shown specially in the Courtyard Theatre. The story is retold using actual eyewitness accounts. Tickets start at £7 and it begins at 8pm.
On Halloween night Ballyearl is hosting a free party for all the family between 7-9pm. There will be face-painters, balloon modellers, magic shows, bouncy castles, music, amusements and a fancy dress competition.
The evening will finish with a spectacular fireworks display. Parking is available at Mossley Mill and there will be a shuttle bus operating for those with limited mobility.
To Halloween celebrations will be ending on Saturday 1st November, join the living history actors for Halloween at Sentry Hill. You can help to make apple juice using a traditional apple press, meet one of the Sentry Hill family as she makes apple pies for a family get together and enjoy Halloween tales and games.
